Eleanor Cooke

Eleanor studied Violin and and Chamber music at the Royal Academy of Music with Frederick Grinke and Sidney Griller winning several RAM major prizes.  On leaving she joined the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and subsequently the CBSO as a sub principal 1st violin. She left to raise a family and continued freelancing with many orchestras including CBSO, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, LPO, Orchestra of the Swan, Orchestra da Camera and English Symphony Orchestra.

Eleanor loves spending time with her family, walking the family dogs, making cakes and teaching both violin and piano!
